Every job is different, but it all starts the same: Getting a quote, and booking your moving services. We made booking super simple and straightforward, and we offer free quotes that are tailored to your needs.

Once you settle on the extras and add-ons you’ll need on the big day, all you have to do is set a date, and book your packing services. Then, we’ll take care of the rest.

We’ll send an experienced packing team to your place, and they’ll show up with all the supplies and tools required for the job. They’ll take a room-by-room approach to the packing process, making sure all of your belongings are wrapped, taped, and boxed with care.

Once everything is securely packed up, the next steps depend on the other services you signed up for. Are you gonna drive a rental truck the rest of the way? We can help load it up. Did you want a full service move? Just meet us at point B, and watch us handle the unpacking, too.

Full Packing Services

When you choose full packing services with Pricing Van Lines, the pros will handle everything – and we mean EVERYTHING. Our team will go room-by-room to make sure we’ve wrapped and double-wrapped all of your items, and we’ll carefully load each box to make sure nothing can bounce or rattle around.

We’re proud to offer full packing services, and we can easily upgrade your experience to a full service move if you want us to handle the loading, hauling, and unloading, also. If you want a completely hands-off move, this is the best option.

Partial Packing Services

If you’re still doing a bit of DIY on your end, we can take care of the hard stuff. Pricing Van Lines offers partial packing services, so you don’t have to deal with any of those hard-to-pack items.

DIY packing gives you a bit more control over the whole process, but it can still be a pain to find a box that’ll fit your furniture or high-value items. Fortunately, our teams can take over for those difficult packing jobs, so you can keep DIYing while we work in the background. It’s great for efficiency, and you’re still getting bragging rights.

Custom Crating

We’ve been in the moving game for over 20 years, so we’ve seen some unique items. Unfortunately, some stuff just won’t fit in a standard-issue moving box. That’s why we offer custom crating for those extra-heavy, extra-stubborn items.

If it won’t fit in a box, Pricing Van Lines will build a box around it. Sculptures, vintage motorcycles, pianos… we’ll show up with the right tools, supplies, and padding materials, and we’ll build a custom crate from the ground up.

Unpacking Services

Need a hand once you get to point B? Pricing Van Lines can help with that, too. When you book unpacking services, we’ll send a trusted crew to meet you at your destination. From there, it’s just a matter of carefully unboxing and unwrapping.

When you move into a new place, it takes a bit of heavy lifting to arrange all your furniture. Once we unpack, we can also get you settled in your new home or apartment. Don’t throw your back out – just call Pricing Van Lines, and we’ll make sure all your stuff is situated where it should be.

What is full service moving?

When you book full service moving, you’re getting a professional team that takes care of EVERYTHING. Your movers will show up, pack up, load up, and transport everything to your destination. Then, they’ll do it all in reverse order once they reach your destination. A full service move is the closest you can get to a VIP experience on moving day: You won’t have to lift a finger.

Where can I find cheap moving boxes?

If you’re really looking for cheap (or free!) moving boxes, we recommend checking your local office park, bookstore, or even liquor store to see if they have any boxes they’re willing to part with. Or, you can make it easier on yourself by ordering packing supplies from Pricing Van Lines. We’ll drop it off at your doorstep so you don’t have to go scrambling around.

When should I order packing services?

If you’re planning a big move, we recommend booking 2 to 3 months in advance. Keep in mind, this “2 to 3 months in advance” is just when you BOOK, not when you’ll be MOVING. By reserving your dates far enough in advance, you can score some sweet deals – and you’ll most likely be able to get the exact dates you were looking for.

What about moving insurance?

Moving companies are legally required to offer basic moving coverage. However, this moving coverage is only good for $0.60 per pound, so if a 4-pound laptop gets broken in transit, you’d only get $2.40 back. If you want to be reimbursed the full value of your items, you’ll need full-value protection. And if you want full-value protection, you’ll have to pay for professional packing as a prerequisite. (After all, movers won’t want to insure your stuff if you packed poorly.)
